Despite the drought, our gardens produced some beautiful fruits and vegetables this season! You may remember that our Ag & Tech and Wabanaki Studies classes started lots of seeds last Spring, many of which were local, indigenous, and/or rare varieties. We grew Abenaki Flint Corn, "Pork Chop" and "Brad's Atomic Grape" tomatoes, Jacobs Cattle dry beans, Buena Mulata hot peppers, and so much more. Perennial crops like raspberries, blackberries, and asparagus continue to thrive. Students in various classes and clubs have been able to use and enjoy the fruits of their labors this fall.
