UCA is ever so grateful for the volunteer work of Board Member Larry Fortin & UCA Alum Morgan Kelly for their tireless efforts to get the new-to-us stage lighting fully installed & focused in our auditorium. Thank you again to The Putney Grammar School for their unbelievable donation. We will continue to add additional donated units as time goes by, but for now, we are “all aglow” and even have floor light for all kinds of UCA events!

We share a gigantic thank you to Green Mountain Mulch, Plant-n-Prune, Larry Fortin, and Marcoux family for their extensive work to revitalize our playground this summer. Mrs. Meredith Ann Gaines and alum, Cheyenne Glover, traveled down today to The Grammar School in Putney, VT, to pick up their unbelievable donation of 16 stage lighting units, dimmer packs, and lighting control board to UCA! These items were a large need for our school, and we are overwhelmed by God’s consistent providence for our school! It’s almost time to kick off our new school year!!

United Christian Academy is saddened to learn of the passing of Richard E. O’Hara, Th.D., who faithfully served as UCA’s Head of School from 2002–2014.

For twelve years, Dr. O’Hara was an important part of the life and leadership of United Christian Academy. His years of service helped shape our school’s story, and his impact remains part of the legacy of UCA today.

We are grateful for the time, leadership, and dedication Dr. O’Hara gave to our school and to the students, families, faculty, and staff he served.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. O’Hara’s family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. We ask our UCA community and beyond to join us in keeping his loved ones in prayer during this time of loss.
