Nokomis Regional Middle School

Hello Warrior Nation! Nokomis Regional Middle School will be hosting our Open House on two separate nights again this year. On August 24, we invite our 5th grade students and families in from 5:30 to 7:00PM to tour the school and meet their teachers. On August 25 we will host our grades 6-8 students, again from 5:30 to 7:00PM. There will be a brief informational meeting in the NRMS Gym at 5:30 on both nights, after which the school will be open to enjoy. As always, if you would like to visit the school before then, please reach out and set up a time. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you all soon!

Due to today's unexpected day off in RSU 19, there will be a calendar change for next Friday, May 22. Instead of a full day workshop day for teachers, it will now be a 1/2 day for students in the morning and full day for teachers. Thank you!

Next week, NRMS will be participating in the Maine State Assessments. Please encourage your child to get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, take their time, and do their best on these tests.

These assessments are important in many ways—they help demonstrate individual student growth, inform our instructional practices, and guide us in identifying both individual and schoolwide student needs. We appreciate your support in helping your child feel prepared and confident.
