Good morning. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I believe this is my best birthday of all. 61st birthday and the last day of my mortgage career. After 37 plus years working with potential homebuyers and Realtors, i am turning the page to a new chapter. I have been making home loans since before we had computers or hand held phones. I was 23 and Ron Reagan was still President. My average loan amount was $72,000, and interest rates were in the 9s. I have had a wonderful career and built relationships with a lifetimes worth of friends and colleagues.

Take on a bigger challenge, heck yea! I am starting in two weeks as a teacher in the Career and Technical Education department, or business department teaching personal finance, leading the FBLA, and other business classes at Warwick High School. The Raider family has welcomed me there as a teacher after substituting there part time since November. I love working with the teachers and staff at Warwick. Going from working at home originating loans to the hallowed hallways at Warwick, full of students, for a few years, and an opportunity to help hundreds of students on their path through high school is Gods plan for me now. Seek and you will find. My niece and nephews came through Warwick and it’s 3 miles from my house.

I am so very thankful to Fulton Mortgage Company and hope you will call them often. They have the best first time homebuyers loan in Virginia, and a very experienced team of experts. To the thousands of REALTORS, I have worked with over the years, thanks for trusting me with your clients. You have become friends forever. I wish you all the best.
