🎸 Midweek Jam: Todd Hastings 🎶

Meet Todd Hastings, one of the powerhouse performers in the Academy of Rock Music’s Performance Program! A guitarist, bassist, and vocalist for the band Side Hustle, Todd has been rocking with the Academy for three years, and his dedication shows every time he hits the stage.

Whether he’s laying down razor-sharp guitar riffs, nailing soulful vocals, or inspiring his bandmates, Todd brings unmatched energy and creativity to every rehearsal and show. He’s known for his ability to blend classic rock tones with modern grooves—making Side Hustle’s sound both nostalgic and fresh.

This past Saturday, Lowder Sound hosted Acoustic Nights S4 E1 (potluck edition) and it was awesome! Talented musicians filled the room with great music, friendly faces came together, and the shared dishes made the night feel warm and connected.

A big thank-you to everyone who joined us, brought something to share, and helped create such an enjoyable evening.

This Saturday from 6 PM - 10 PM, join us for another unforgettable evening of live music at Lowder Sound! Our Acoustic Nights series is back, showcasing some truly talented performers ready to bring raw, stripped-down performances that hit different.

Expect soulful voices, masterful musicianship, and an atmosphere that feels like home—because great music deserves a great crowd. Bring a drink, grab a seat, and soak in the sound.

Berklee College of Music alum & AoRM owner Ron Lowder Jr. is now accepting students for drum lessons at our Newport News location in City Center. With over 20 years of teaching experience, these lessons are ideal for adults and high school students interested in applying for music school.
