Hampton Roads International Montessori School

Last week, our Children's House classrooms at both campuses hosted their Spring Teas. The food was delicious, and a wonderful time was had by both the students and their guests.

Even our kindergartens do research and presentations! Then continue to expand on those skills as they go to older grades.

Everyone wanted to be here to celebrate teacher appreciation week! Our eggs have hatched at both buildings! Ms. Kim and Ms. Claudia's gecko eggs hatched, and each of their butterflies escaped from their chrysalis! It was an exciting Monday!

Our Lower Elementary students from both campuses went on a field trip to Christopher Newport University today for a presentation on human evolution with Dr. Chris Loy as a follow-up to their learning about the Timeline of Humans. The students were engaged and thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on portion. A huge thank you to Dr. Loy!
