Prayer for A New School Year:
Dear Lord, as we begin a new school year, I ask for your blessing to be upon the students, teachers, administrators, staff, and bus drivers. Fill the students minds with curiosity and wonder. Open their hearts to friends old and new. Give them courage to include those who are different from themselves. Help them find peace when they are anxious and confidence when they are afraid. Remind them to be kind always kind. Keep them safe. Surround them with your love and guide them with your light, on this first day of school and all through the year ahead. Amen.

Today we had our annual end of summer~back to school~farewell pizza party. This day is always bittersweet because have to say “Goodbye” to our summer friends and also to some of our full-time friends who are moving on from daycare to preschool and kindergarten. We are sad to see them go but we are excited for their new adventures and look forward to seeing our summer friends again next year!
Side note: All the kids enjoyed pizza and treats for lunch today but the kids who are pictured are our friends who are either starting or going back to school 🚌

My heart is so full of gratitude tonight and I am feeling humbled, loved, and blessed by all of my daycare families who spoiled me today. You all showed up and showed out for me today! Please know how much I appreciate each one of you and the wonderful gifts, cards, beautiful flowers, sweet treats, hugs and kind words! Many thanks again to my family for your love and support all these years and to all of my Facebook family and friends who sent messages and posted congratulatory comments today. In honor of 30 years ~ I am a Bridge.
I didn't set out to be one. I just showed up every day, opened my door, and held space. Somewhere along the way, I became a part of people's lives that helps them get from point A to point B.
They arrive with babies in their arms and exhaustion in their eyes. They trust me with first steps, first words, and first friendships. Some days, their children are with me more than they are with them. I know their routines, their fears, their comfort cries. I know who needs an extra hug and who needs to be left alone.
The parents grow too. Careers change. Families shift. Life moves forward the way it does.
And then one day, without drama or malice, they leave. Not because something went wrong but because it worked.
The children grow up. The parents move on. New seasons begin. Everyone means well. They always do. But I remain where I've always been. I am not the destination. I am not the friend who stays. I am the bridge they cross, necessary, trusted. and quietly left behind. And even knowing this, I show up again tomorrow ❤

Today I am celebrating 30 years of being in business. I am so thankful, grateful and blessed to still be here and going strong after so many years. First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with a job that allowed me to be home to take care of my own children when they were growing up while enabling me to help support our family. I would also like to thank my husband and my children for their love, support and the sacrifices they have made throughout the years. It is not easy sharing your home, your wife, and mom with so many others every day. And last but not least I would like to thank all of my clients past and present who have supported me, stood by me through good times and bad, who have become friends, and like family and who have helped make my business what it is today. Thank you for sharing your children with me ❤
