What a blessing it was to welcome our families to Peninsula Catholic last night!

Our evening began where all things should, gathered around the altar in prayer during our Back-to-School Mass. Following Mass, families enjoyed fellowship before walking the halls, visiting classrooms, and connecting with the teachers who will guide and support their students throughout the year.

The evening was a beautiful reminder that Catholic education is rooted in more than academics. It is a partnership among families, educators, and our faith community, united in helping every student grow in knowledge, character, and love of Christ.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped fill our school with such joy and warmth. May God bless our students, families, faculty, and staff throughout the year ahead!

Please join us in welcoming Carley Liberty, our new school nurse, to Peninsula Catholic!

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Carley brings seven years of intensive and critical care nursing experience. She holds advanced cardiovascular, pediatric, basic life support, and trauma nursing certifications. Carley has also served in the military for 12 years, first as an enlisted medic and now as a critical care nurse.

She earned degrees from Chamberlain University, the United States Air Force, and Florida State College at Jacksonville. In her free time, Carley enjoys being with her 7-year-old son, Harrison, and their energetic Australian Shepherd, Grant.

Mrs. Weser brings heart, energy, and dedication to everything she does. She goes above and beyond to welcome new teachers, offer guidance, and ensure they feel supported. In the classroom, she inspires her students to learn, grow, and believe in what they can accomplish.

Last Wednesday, the Knights and Lady Knights got off to a strong start at their first meet of the season at the Mariners’ Museum!

Jacob W. won the varsity boys race with an impressive 3K time of 9:54, helping the Knights finish third overall. Rachel B. won the varsity girls race in 12:12, finishing 29 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor and leading the Lady Knights to a second-place team finish.

The JV boys also had a great showing, finishing fourth overall. Scott G. led the team with a fourth-place individual finish.

Last week, Ms. LC’s Earth Science class stepped into the roles of scientists and investigators as students presented their Science Investigative Cases.

By analyzing evidence, identifying possible causes, forming hypotheses, and applying the scientific method, students discovered that science is about more than memorizing facts. It is about asking questions, thinking critically, investigating possibilities, and developing evidence-based explanations.
