Please join me in congratulating the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School men’s and women’s basketball teams for winning New South Athletic Conference championships last weekend! It was the first conference championship in program history for the women and the third for the men.

There are more opportunities to cheer on the Builders as they move on to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national tournament next week. Good luck, ship(Builders)!
