Perfect for retirees wanting to start yoga. People who are concerned about "holding a pose" because you do not have to put stress on your body through restorative yoga.

We use props, blankets, blocks and straps AND provide them. You may bring your own mat if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothes. Socks are okay in restorative yoga!

Good news Restorative Yoga Fam! Yoga at Jewish Peninsula was extended through the summer and we decided to alternate between Tuesdays and Thursdays to accommodate the schedule. Here are the dates for your calendar and all sessions start at 10:30 a.m. (Note the time has been moved back from 10:45a.m.)

🪬If you are Military and can get on, it's Shellbank Fitness Center 11am-noon every Saturday. Please feel free to start something new if you are trying to get out and meet folks. Bring a friend!

👀Arrive no later than 10:55a.m. I have mats, blocks and a yoga strap, just bring yourself!

Please be in place ready to go at 11a.m. sharp.

Time changed!! A lovely 45 min restorative.
🕯Every Wednesday night, 4:30p.m., I destress you and lower your cortisol getting you ready for a more relaxing sleep. Restore = restorative yoga. No hard poses, just props and comfort. PWC

🪬Every Thursday we have fun. We put what we learned Monday together in a Slow-ga class. Slow-flow. It does flow but slowly. PWC 5:30p.m.

👣Saturday 11a.m.-noon Shellbank Fitness Center is All-levels as above, Military access, LAFB.

Dignity Grows Launch Party 05/06/2026

Dignity Grows here on the Virginia Peninsula is launching with the help of my friends at Jewish Peninsula.

Join us as we pack the first 300 tote bags, each with a one-month supply of menstrual and hygiene products, that will be distributed throughout Hampton Roads (and also drinking for a good cause 🍻)

Donation-based yoga flow will be available from 6:30-7pm with me (Vitalize You Wellness) that includes poses to use for cramps, or why actually doing yoga before your cycle can help tremendously. (Includes a pelvic floor example for those ACHOO moments).

I need your help!!! Please. If you are someone who is afraid to try yoga, please let me know why. You can message, or even comment here.

I build classes around my students and my Monday class really needs you. It's all about learning different postures that can help you with some of the following *if not all because let's face it, Starting yoga is good for you!!

🪷Hip issues, learn more about how to correct them.
🌸Pelvic floor moves, learn about why you need them. (Achoo) that's why.
🌷Core strength, even IF you had a C-section. I'm literally the teacher who had everything cut so I get it.
🌼Back pain. See above. Weak core, back pain go together.

I can list sleep benefits, perimenopause and beyond, lowering cortisol, stress, teaching you breathing techniques for PANIC or anxiety plus more but here's the thing. You have to admit what's going on and start.
