This week on April 11, Cassidy Dyce, a CNU Alumi, will be a guest speaker for the Jean Everitt Journalism Lecture Series. Dyce's presentation, "Remaining Anchored in the Vision: Success with a CNU English Degree" will be at the Gregory P. Klich Alumni House at 5 pm! 🎓📖 See you there!

Tomorrow (4/4) CNU Alumni, Molly Stillman, will be hosting a meet & greet and book signing for her novel "If i don't laugh, ill cry!" This will be held in the McMurran Lobby at 12pm 📚🖊 See you there!

On November 15, we held the Sigma Tau Delta, the National English Honor Society, induction ceremony. There were six new inductees who gracefully pledged! 😊🕯Congratulations to the brand new inductees!

Jan Carson, the award-winning novelist from Belfast, Northern Ireland, is coming to CNU on Thursday (11/30) from 6pm-7:30pm! She will be speaking about the particularities of writing in a post-conflict society, specifically Northern Ireland. This event will be held in McMurran Hall 101.

Dr. Ivan Rodden held a developmental reading of his play "FSB* *Famous Singer Boyfriend" with long-time collaborator Sophia Eleni and others at the Old Red Lion Theatre Pub in London. The play was partly inspired by his students in the Fall 2022 section of Fiction Writing!

Congratulations to the English Department team the CNU Speed Readers for completing the Noland 50K Relay this past Saturday! They placed 15th out of 75 teams, proving that CNU English faculty can both read AND run fast.
