🇵🇷 What an unforgettable journey! Our EcoVentures trip to Puerto Rico was packed with discovery, adventure, and deep learning. Our Navigators explored five incredible ecosystems across the island: Coastal areas, Coral Reefs, Mangrove Forests, Seagrass Beds, and the lush Tropical Rain Forest. And that’s just scratching the surface because so many more we didn’t have time to see! Along the way, students snorkeled vibrant coral reefs, swam in La Parguera cays & a bioluminescent bay, kayaked through the Condado Lagoon, made hot chocolate from fresh cacao fruit, jumped from rocks, slid down natural rock slides & swung into rivers. relaxed at Combate Beach, tasted Puerto Rican cuisine, and immersed themselves in the island’s rich culture and history. This trip wasn’t just a getaway, it was an immersive learning experience about the interconnectedness of nature, culture, and conservation. Thank you Dr. Gendreau and Mrs. DeBoer for another fun and educational experience. 💙💛💙

🎾☀️ Summer Spotlight shines on Tennis Camp for Beginners with Coach Hedgepeth! Upper School students are spending their summer learning the fundamentals of tennis, building confidence on the court, improving their skills, and having fun along the way. Campers are enjoying an active summer while developing a lifelong sport. Great work, Navigators! 🎾💙💛

🎓 Congratulations to the Hampton Roads Academy Class of 2026! This past weekend, we honored their many achievements at our sixty-sixth annual Commencement Ceremony. This exceptionally talented class includes two National Merit Scholars, seven National Merit Commended Students, and four athletes who will compete at the collegiate level next year. We could not be prouder of the newest members of our alumni community! 💙💛💙

Last Friday, we gathered to celebrate the end of another wonderful Lower School year at HRA! From recognizing our dedicated Safety Patrol members to honoring Outstanding Students in each class and grade level, the assembly was a special time to reflect on the hard work, character, leadership, and growth demonstrated throughout the year.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients for their achievements and for the positive impact they have made on our school community. We are proud of each student’s accomplishments and grateful for the teachers, families, and friends who have supported them along the way. Well done, Navigators! 💙💛
