God never promised to protect you from trials. He promised something far more powerful: to be with you in the middle of them and use them to shape you. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him." Romans 8:28 Not some things. All things. Even the ones that don't make sense today. God's goodness isn't measured by how well things are going for you. It's measured by what He produces in you in the middle of what's going wrong.

David was called "a man after God's own heart." He was also an adulterer. A liar. And he had an innocent man killed. How do you explain that? It's one of the most honest questions anyone can ask about the Bible. And the answer changes everything. Because "after God's own heart" doesn't mean "perfect." It means responsive. It means that when God spoke… David listened. He sinned. Gravely. But when the prophet Nathan confronted him, David didn't make excuses, didn't run, or minimize it. He broke down.
He repented. And he came back. "Create in me a pure heart, O God." Psalm 51:10 That's exactly what the Minor Prophets came to do for Israel. Hosea called the people spiritual adulterers… but also proclaimed restoration. Amos denounced injustice… but pointed the way back. Joel spoke of judgment… but promised that God would pour out His Spirit on all who turned back to Him. The prophets' message wasn't just condemnation. It was an invitation to return.
Like David, we've all fallen short, but how do we respond when God speaks? 👇
Jesus didn't just teach the Word of God. He showed us how to live it. And the Minor Prophets are one of the most powerful proofs of that. Hosea. Amos. Jonah. Micah.

Many wait for God to speak… when in reality, God is waiting for them to surrender. God's will is revealed to the surrendered. 💬
Is there something in your life where you know what God is asking of you… But you still haven't taken the step? 👇
Jesus didn't say: "Put me among your priorities."
He said something far more demanding: "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
