Free meals are provided to all children and teens on a first come, first serve basis at locations throughout Newport News on the days and times listed. All meals must be consumed on site. All sites will be closed on June 19 and July 3, 2026.

As they prepare to close one chapter and begin another, we couldn't be more proud of all they have accomplished. From classroom achievements to lasting friendships and unforgettable memories, they have grown in so many ways throughout their elementary school journey.

We wrapped up our final Friday of the school year by celebrating students who demonstrated Kanga Pride all year long! 🦘💙
These students consistently showed respect, responsibility, kindness, and leadership throughout the year, and today we honored their hard work with a special end-of-year celebration.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them for being positive role models and representing what it means to be a Kanga. Keep shining, keep leading, and continue showing that Kanga Pride wherever you go!

Yesterday we wrapped up our Chick-fil-A luncheon for our Kangas who successfully completed their Reading Passport! 📚🐾
We are so proud of all of our students who dedicated their time and effort to reading throughout the school year. A special kudos to those who completed their Reading Passport and earned this well-deserved celebration!
As summer begins, we encourage all of our students to keep turning pages, exploring new stories, and growing their love for reading. Reading doesn't stop when school ends!
