Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher

Description

A flight school located on the Virginia Peninsula is seeking a results-oriented, customer-friendly individual in a fast-paced, dynamic FAA-approved Part 141 flight school.

Responsibilities

The position is responsible for working with customers and flight instructors by:

Managing the flight schedule using the online Flight Schedule Pro management program.

Billing and credit card processing.

Keep online management program up to date with:

Pilot records
Flight Instructors' records
Assist pilots, instructors, and maintenance in scheduling aircraft.

Dispatch aircraft in a timely manner.

Coordinate with maintenance department scheduling mandatory aircraft inspections, and unscheduled maintenance.

Notifying customers and flight instructors of schedule changes.

Inventory management of pilot supplies and training materials.

Report to the flight school manager and chief instructor.

Other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills

Exceptional customer service skills a must. Must be willing to work with the public
Excellent communication skills.
Develop a strong knowledge of the company's service.
Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills.
Knowledge of general aviation helpful.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Quickbooks helpful.
