A HUGE thank you to the Hampton University Football and Men’s Lacrosse teams for helping us kick off the new school year with an unforgettable welcome! 💙🤍

Our DSA Explorers were greeted with high-fives, cheers, smiles, and plenty of Hampton spirit as they arrived for their first day. What an incredible way to remind our students that their community is cheering them on as they begin another year of learning, growing, and achieving! 🎒📚✨

We are so grateful to these student-athletes and coaches for taking the time to show up for our students and make their first day extra special. This is what community partnership looks like!

Looking for free activities, resources, and opportunities for your family? Our community partners at Ivy Community Outreach have several events happening throughout August!

✨ Upcoming Events Include:
🎯 Wednesday, August 12 — Senior/Adult Bingo, 1–3 PM & Food Pantry, 4–6:30 PM
🎉 Saturday, August 15 — FREE Community Day for ALL ages, 11 AM–3 PM
🎨 Wednesday, August 26 — Senior/Adult Watercolor Crafts, 1–3 PM
🏀 Every Friday — Youth & Young Adults Friday Night Nets, 6–9 PM

🍽️ Food will be served!

We encourage our Discovery STEM Academy families to take advantage of these wonderful opportunities to connect, have fun, and access community resources. 💚
