The program will feature a conversation focused on leadership, service, community, and the future of Virginia, highlighting perspectives from military-connected and regional leaders across Hampton Roads.

Meet Laura Messer, Virginia Tech Newport News Center Advisory Council Member!

Laura Messer is a Destination Development Manager for the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) with a focus on the Chesapeake Bay and Coastal Virginia regions including the Eastern Shore. In this role, Laura supports tourism-related businesses and organizations as well as local and regional government partners. Laura has been with VTC since 2022. Previously, Laura spent nearly 14 years with James City County working in tourism marketing and economic development.
