Pastor Sarah paid a visit to the Islamic Educational Center of Orange County in Costa Mesa to stand with our Muslim neighbors after the trajedy at the Islamic Center of San Diego. We at IUCC grieve the loss of life due to senseless gun violence and hatred. As part of the Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council, we remain committed to interfaith work and cherish our neighbors of all faith backgrounds.

In a world fractured by division, the Interfaith Prayer Breakfast on May 7th was a deeply meaningful and impactful day of prayer and unity. Over 250 were in attendance, including the mayors of Irvine and Costa Mesa. We were moved by the prayers from representatives of Orange County's many faiths and keynote speaker Steve Young's message about the Law of Love. Though we all come from different faith backgrounds, we are united by one supreme principle—love.
Special thanks to our friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Newport Beach, for hosting this spectacular gathering.
