Congratulations to #38 Kori Villeneuve for being selected the Newport Harbor Softball Player of the Game.
Super senior 3rd baseman team captain Kori added to her team-leading batting totals with four hits and nine RBI's on the day including back-to-back home runs, numbers 4 and 5 for the season. Coupled with her usual stellar fielding, Kori closed out her high school softball career as co-player of both games in Newport Harbor's sweep of Corona del Mar and the Battle of the Bay championship.

2 big wins for the Sailors yesterday in the Savanna Tournament. Kori ‘Korndog’ Villeneuve had a monster day at the plate with a homer in both games. She hit the first dinger to break a 5-5 tie and give her team a 7-5 lead vs Hillcrest. The 2nd homer helped increase the lead to a victory vs Santiago. Way to hit Korndog!
