With Earth Day coming next Month, I thought it was the right time to get back to posting! A few weeks ago my Grandma from Ohio was visiting. At that time, I had so much recycling that it couldn’t fit in the truck (business is good!) so she made a late night run with me to the local grocery store where you can turn in recycling.

The reason I can have a business is because there are a lot of people who help me. One of my long time customers in Costa Mesa goes out of his way to sort the recycling for me. That's never expected but it sure is appreciated! Hope you're all doing great.

Here's a pic of my dog Potsy with one single aluminum can. Image 14,000 cans. That's how about many I recycled in 2016. And this year through July I've already recycled 8,676. When I think about that it's kinda hard to imagine because I do it just one can at a time. But they all add up! I have LOTS of great customers but one of my newest business accounts is unbelievably cool. E-Motion Engineering (in Newport Beach) builds one of kind Porsches for the street and track and has designed some of the most significant custom Porsche cars anywhere. The shop is owned by Joey Seely (he’s got the best job ever!) and he is totally committed to the environment. His shop has been supporting My ReCycler with huge bags of recycling for a while now and I just wanted to say thanks. I really appreciate you helping me Joey! Dig my T-Shirt.

The first half of 2017 is over and its been a record 6 months for My ReCycler. Even though I have a lot of big business accounts I still really appreciate all of my neighborhood customers. A lot of them drop off their recycling at my house (👍) behind the old wooden gate where my sign still is. Just wanted to say thanks again!

The Orange County School of the Arts is a great customer of My ReCycler and they're doing an awesome job recycling. They had a big Earth Day event to promote lots of ways to help care of our environment. It was great to be a part of it!

I wanted to sell my '78 VW Bus and Hopalong Auto in Costa Mesa handled it for me - perfectly!. It turns out they're more than just really nice car guys with an incredible auto storage, sales and consignment business ... they also care about recycling! And now My ReCycler has a new customer! Made my first pick up today.
Can't thank you enough Hopalong Auto, you're the best!

I have great news. Huge thanks to Mark Schulein of Crown Ace Hardware for partnering with My ReCycler. Plastic bags are a necessary and expensive part of my business. Crown Ace Hardware came to the rescue! The custom bags they are now providing me are absolutely fantastic. Here's a pic of my first full load using 100% of my new bags (looking good). Can't thank you enough Mark and Crown Ace Hardware for supporting me.
