I've adored this quilting pattern for a really long time and Chris was the first person brave enough to try it on one of her quilts!! We were both thrilled with the results!

The Time Warp quilting pattern is a raging success - clients love it! It's an excellent pattern for quilts that have a lot of color and/or shape changes: melds them together and lets the piecing stand out, as demonstrated by Strippy Bar Succulents by Trudy Olson.
Quilt size 37" x 38"

This is such a cute example of how to use panel yardage. Dottie cut squares of the printed flower motifs and added borders - isn't this great? I just love it! Not every quilt needs to be an heirloom masterpiece taking years to finish; some just need to be quick and easy, gorgeous, and loved!!
Quilt Size: 33x54
Quilting Pattern: Flowers and Spirals at 15”

I usually run the quilting pattern Curls Daisy Sun at 10” (seen in the muslin sample) but on Chris’ Batik Yellow Brick Road quilt below, I enlarged it to 15”.
I’d love to hear from you! Which one do you like? Standard or enlarged?

I must say I look forward to whatever Christine Ross has up her sleeve, this time a wall hanging of oriental fabrics set with black sashing and borders. There were dragonflies in some of the fabrics which made the quilting pattern a no-brainer!
Quilt Size: 41 x 51

Lynne Bryan created this adorable quilt called “Little Fox”, and is an example of a combination of custom and edge-to-edge quilting. She wanted to do the interior ditching of the fox herself, which she did once she got it home. Always happy to collaborate!
Quilt size: 43 x 49
Quilting Pattern: Modern Circle Line, with Fox masked and outlined (custom)

My favorite and most used tool for quilting is a seam ripper. Without it, my job would come to a halt! These are some reasons I use it:
-to remove pattern stitching when I've made a mistake (yes! mistakes happen!!)
-to remove basting stitching I use to keep quilts straight
-to lift the cover off my bobbin area to clean (it's just the right size to pry the cover off!)
-as a '3rd finger' when sewing at my domestic machine to keep seams and seam intersections straight
Do you have a favorite tool you use daily, whether for work or personal use? Let’s hear about it in the comments!
