We've got a busy day tomorrow! We are celebrating National Day on Writing in the early morning and then will participate in California's Great Shake Out by practicing our tsunami evacuation at 10:18am.

We are off to a GREAT start thanks to our awesome students, terrific teachers and supportive parents! Thanks everyone!!! We look forward to seeing our parents at Back to School Night on September 13th at 6:30pm.

We are looking forward to seeing our Newport El students and families today at "Big Thursday!" Doors open at 10am!

Newport El Math Team began meeting yesterday! We held our design contest for our team t-shirt. Congratulations to Marley Mais who designed the winning logo! The team will begin wearing their shirts in March! We will introduce our team at an upcoming flag deck.
