Dexter Music Recitals provide an opportunity to feel successful. Learning to play an instrument requires many, many hours of solo practice. Performing gives children the recognition they deserve for their hard-work.

Recitals also provide a chance for children to reflect upon where they’ve “come from” when watching beginning students and to see “where they’ll go” when watching more advanced students. There are few things more motivating to a student than watching their peers perform.

We encourage you to come out and watch. It is free to attend and support other families in our community!

24 Music Festivals Coming to SoCal

Whether your heart longs for metal, alternative rock, country, techno, new-wave, punk, Latin pop or even jazz, there’s something for every musical taste on the roster thus far. The Jan Shows are listed below with link to all 24 festivals coming in 2024!

Calibash

The Southern California Latin radio fest hosted by Mega/FM 96.3 and LaMusica will host performances by Feid, Yandel, Farukko, Prince Royce, Young Miko, Maria Becerra, Darell, Grupo Frontera, Edgardo Nunez, YNG Lvcas, Yahritza y Su Esencia and Conexión Divina.

ALTer Ego Festival

Los Angeles-based alternative rock station ALT/FM 98.7 is bringing back its annual iHeartRadio ALTer Ego Festival, hosted by the station’s “The Woody Show” morning crew. It will include performances by Paramore, The 1975, The Black Keys, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Bush, Sum 41, Yellowcard, Lovelytheband and The Last Dinner Party.
