A Historic First for the UL School of Medicine, in the All-Ireland Medical Undergraduate Case Competition 2026.

The Royal College of General Practitioners Republic of Ireland Faculty Spring Meeting took place in the Albert Lecture Theatre, Royal College of Surgeons, on Saturday April 18.

The All-Ireland Medical Undergraduate Clinical Case Competition, held at the meeting, was won by Alex Stewart and Treasa Moloney, representing the School of Medicine, University of Limerick.

The judging panel commended the excellent presentation for adopting a thorough and holistic approach to the case.

Congratulations to both Alex and Treasa on a well-deserved win and a historic first for the UL School of Medicine. 👏
