I am sixty years old. I am divorced. I am a Mom and the legal guardian of my two grandchildren. My grandson has Autism and is non verbal. My responsibility for my grandchildren, ages 11 and 14, is my highest priority. I have been a successful Business owner throughout my life. I handle my own portfolio and have been investing and advising others for many years. I have designed and remodeled seven homes. I live in Orange County California. I am an advocate for the Disabled Community and have been my entire life. I am a strong Ally of the LGBTQ Community and have been throughout my life. I support human rights. I volunteer the time I can find and donate to many causes, and charities. I am a Coach, a Mentor, a supporter of Women and those who identify as Women. But none of these things define or describe me. Who I really am is defined by my heart and my soul. I love and protect my grandchildren fiercely. I am a loyal and caring friend. I feel most at peace on the Ocean at Sunset. I am an animal lover, a caregiver, and responsible, honest and generous. My love of all things beautiful motivates me to travel. Art, Architecture, Literature, History, Music, landscapes and scenery all inspire and fascinate me. But, mostly I am fascinated by people and connecting on a deeper level. I sometimes intimidate others. That is usually due to me desiring knowledge about them. Or understanding them and identifying with them too well. I am very confident and secure at this point in life. Am I all good? Absolutely not. I can become opinionated and angry. I will not be silenced or talked down to. I will fight for the rights of others, and I can be a force. I set boundaries that can seem sudden and I won’t give an explanation if I feel exhausted by the situation. Through pain comes strength. I am very strong due to everything I have overcome. I only have so much energy or time to give. So, at this point in my life, I am unwilling to play games or allow anyone to take advantage of me. What describes you? If you aren’t clear and honest about who you are, how will you open up to others?
