It’s Holiday time again! I am getting excited about this year’s plans. I’m looking forward to volunteering for Orangewood Foundation in December and I obviously love my time with my grandchildren. What are your plans?

Showgirl vibes for October. 💜

Taking a little social media break. Also taking a break from anything that doesn’t bring me joy, peace, and fulfillment. Life is short. Live accordingly. 💜 Please email me through my website if you need me. Limitlesslifebyliz.com

I’ve been back in the gym lifting heavy for about four months after taking some time off for health reasons. I’m so thankful I was able to get the rest I needed and I feel stronger than I have been in a couple of years! Stress can definitely take a toll on our health. My cortisol levels were about three times higher than they should be and I had a relapse of my digestive/ gut inflammation issues. Between my divorce, my battle with the school district over my grandson’s Special Education placement and the overall stress of being a single Grandma/ Guardian, I really needed to take a break and focus on myself. I set some goals, starting with a Dr. that helped me with supplements and other therapies that helped me lower stress (cortisol), and inflammation. Once I started feeling better, I got back to Pilates and walking. Then, about four months ago, I got the green light to start lifting again. I’ve already gained muscle and lost some extra weight. I will be 58 soon and this year marks my 11th year since my major lifestyle change. I discovered Pilates and Weight training at 47 and I have tried to keep up both, as my mental and physical health really benefits. All any of us can do is “try”. Try to take care of ourselves. Try to focus on mental health, stress management and overall wellness. What are some of the ways you are coping with life, and managing your stress? #wellness #weighttraining #stressrelief #grandmaswholift #pilates #hormonebalance #mentalhealthmatters #meditation #vitamintherapy #selfcare 07/22/2024
