Thomas Merton defines contemplation as taking a “long loving look at the real”. Easier said than done, but a willingness to practice presence leads to encounters with holiness, with Love, with Christ. Our mats are a place where peace is found, healing and hope. No yoga experience required — just the willingness to show up. That’s the hardest part.

Each week we offer free Christ-centered yoga classes:

🗓️ Monday – 12 PM MDT (11 AM PDT / 1 PM CDT / 2 PM EDT)
🗓️ Tuesday – 7:30 AM MDT (6:30 AM PDT / 8:30 AM CDT / 9:30 AM EDT)

Description: Every quarter Katie Pearson, Living Soul’s Spiritual Formation Director and Christian Life Coach, leads a group coaching experience based on one of her favorite books. This fall’s cohort will dive into The Will of God as a Way of Life, by Jerry Sittser, a professor and theologian who has been featured lately with John Mark Comer through Practicing the Way.

Rich in wisdom and practical application, Sittser challenges the common belief that God has one hidden, detailed plan for every decision we make and that our primary task is to discover it. Instead, he argues that God’s will is less about finding a specific path and more about becoming the kind of person who walks faithfully with Him in every circumstance. In addition to discussion, Katie created a simple Life Mapping exercise to help re-story the past and discern a hopeful future.
