“When it comes to educating other stylists, it really brings something alive in me that goes far beyond myself. It becomes about empowering and equipping others.. Helping them win and seeing them transform their careers which essentially can change their lives is one of the most rewarding things about my job. That’s why I opened the salon… That’s why I love to educate and help other stylists. It’s so rewarding seeing others win and succeed and ultimately it’s so much bigger myself. It’s what keeps me going and pushing forward.
I also saw such a gap in our industry from the time I got started 10 years ago and have made it my mission to bridge that gap ever since. The beauty industry is known for so much negativity, people not taking themselves seriously as professionals, underpaid and overworked burnt out hair stylists. I’ve made it my mission to prove that it doesn’t have to be that way.
