Odyssey Charter School was the first
state-approved charter school in Coweta County, Georgia, and one of the first state-approved charter schools in Georgia, having obtained approval from the Georgia State Board of Education in 2001. A public school of choice, we opened in August 2004 with approximately 120 students, serving grades K-5. VISION
Odyssey Charter School will equip students with the skills they need to become self-motivated, life-long learners, by providing a learning environment which respects children's learning styles, develops individual talents, and creates independent thinkers. Odyssey offers a rigorous academic program while providing a supportive atmosphere that recognizes that children have different interests and learning styles.
