ATTENTION PARENTS!!!

Due to construction and a machine breaking down at the corner of Cougar Way and Sewell Road, traffic will be ONE WAY ONLY at dismissal today!! All traffic will travel northbound toward Lagrange Street. There will be NO southbound traffic on Cougar Way.

Unless you are picking up a student, avoid this area altogether. We apologize for the inconvenience, however, these circumstances are beyond our control.

Thank you for your patience during the final stages of the LINC construction.

Good evening Newnan High School students and parents!! As we approach our first day of school, please see the information below concerning arrival and dismissal. The first graphic shows car rider drop off and pickup as well as the bus zone. The second graphic shows traffic flow around campus.

LINC construction will not start before 9:00am, and will cease at 2:30pm to assure we have 2 way traffic around campus during arrival and dismissal. PLEASE NOTE: Sewell Road and Cougar Way are still under construction, so proceed with caution.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate the City of Newnan LINC construction. We look forward to seeing all of our students tomorrow morning!! GO Cougars!

Good morning Newnan Cougars! Here is the Newnan High Electronic Device Guidelines for the 2026–2027 school year. In order to create the best possible learning environment, cell phones and all personal electronic devices must be turned off and stored away during the school day. This includes headphones, earbuds, smart watches, Meta glasses, tablets, and other personal electronic devices.

Tomorrow is the day!! Please join us for the Cougar Community Cookout at Drake Stadium on the campus of Newnan High School from 10:30-12:00. Due to the City of Newnan LINC construction, parking is limited but available in the senior parking lot across the street from the baseball field, in the 9th grade parking lot, and on Lagrange Street.

Please join us for food, fun, and a few back to school supplies tomorrow morning!! See you there!!
