As part of our Read Across America Week celebration, our students and staff wore their favorite hats to school for our “Hats Off to Reading” spirit day! It was so much fun seeing all the different hats while celebrating something we love—reading.

Reading helps spark imagination, build language skills, and open the door to endless adventures. We’re proud to help our little learners grow their love for books every day!

We absolutely loved hosting our PDD here at Senoia Kids Academy! It was such a wonderful day of learning, collaborating, and growing together as educators. Investing in our team means investing in your children — and we are always striving to be the very best for them! 💙📚

It was extra special getting to connect with our sister school, Kids 4 Kompany, and spend time building relationships with their amazing staff. There’s something powerful about sharing ideas, encouragement, and lots of laughs with others who have the same heart for early childhood education.

And we were especially excited to have Erica back at SKA — even if it was just for the day! Seeing her walk through our doors again brought all the smiles and sweet memories. 💕 Once you’re part of the SKA family, you’re always family!

Not only did we strengthen our support system between campuses, but we also dove into the difference between **product art vs. process art** 🎨 — celebrating creativity, exploration, and the importance of focusing on the *experience* rather than just the final masterpiece.

A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Jessi Slater, our amazing inclusion specialist, for leading such an impactful training! She helped equip our team with practical tools to confidently navigate classroom behaviors using the **Pyramid Model** and the **“5 Deposits”** framework. These strategies help us build stronger relationships, create nurturing environments, and support every child’s social-emotional growth.

Days like this remind us how important it is to keep learning so we can show up as our very best for our little ones. 🦦💛

Today, our team will step away from day-to-day operations for a Professional Development Day. This special time is dedicated to strengthening the practices that drive "otterly" great school experiences.

We will be opening tomorrow at 9am to ensure the safe travel of our staff and families against potential black ice. There will be no morning bus run for school age students but we will have afternoon pickup. Ga Pre-K car rider line will begin at 9:15. We will still be closing at 6pm.
