Team members in Ms. Martiz's class worked on their technical writing skills by writing instructions to build a Lego jet or vehicle. Here's the catch: Another group had to follow the instructions and build the Lego set using ONLY those instructions - no pictures or diagrams! This exercise teaches the importance of writing and following instructions, which is extra important for science labs and activities.

Remember, people might not remember what accomplished, but they will ALWAYS remember how you treated them!

This week, Ms. Hanus' class learned to work in groups. The objective: save the wildebeest and the lions from a forest fire! They had to cross a crocodile-infested river two at a time using only one raft! The catch: they had to do this without the lions outnumbered the wildebeest at any time! Team members did an excellent job, and all the animals were saved!
