It has been a while since I posted here. So much has been happening. However, I am still thinking about the best approach to practicing the Polish language. I continue to write songs in Polish, and I am going to record my favorite Polish poems, the ones that I learned when I was a little girl.
In the near future, I will post my first recording of the poem
"Na Straganie" by Jan Brzechwa.

"Na straganie w dzień targowy
Takie słyszy się rozmowy:

„Może pan się o mnie oprze,
Pan tak więdnie, panie koprze.”

„Cóż się dziwić, mój szczypiorku,
Leżę tutaj już od wtorku!”

Rzecze na to kalarepka:
„Spójrz na rzepę – ta jest krzepka!”

Groch po brzuszku rzepę klepie:
„Jak tam, rzepo? Coraz lepiej?”

„Dzięki, dzięki, panie grochu,
Jakoś żyje się po trochu.

Lecz pietruszka – z tą jest gorzej:
Blada, chuda, spać nie może.”

„A to feler” –
Westchnął seler.

Burak stroni od cebuli,
A cebula doń się czuli:

„Mój Buraku, mój czerwony,
Czybyś nie chciał takiej żony?”

Burak tylko nos zatyka:
„Niech no pani prędzej zmyka,

Ja chcę żonę mieć buraczą,
Bo przy pani wszyscy płaczą.”

„A to feler” –
Westchnął seler.

Naraz słychać głos fasoli:
„Gdzie się pani tu gramoli?!”

„Nie bądź dla mnie taka wielka” –
Odpowiada jej brukselka.

„Widzieliście, jaka krewka!” –
Zaperzyła się marchewka.

„Niech rozsądzi nas kapusta!”
„Co, kapusta?! Głowa pusta?!”

A kapusta rzecze smutnie:
„Moi drodzy, po co kłótnie,

Po co wasze swary głupie,
Wnet i tak zginiemy w zupie!”

„A to feler” –
Westchnął seler.

Recently, I have been studying Polish history more and had the privilege of speaking about it on stage.
Poland has a rich history and has experienced many hardships
My heart is grateful for being born in Poland and for the experiences that shaped me.
Yes, Poland is not the same as when I was growing up, yet I still feel a love for the country.
Here is a poem that I learned when I was little girl♥️ titled “Kto Talk to you later jestes?”/“Who are You?

— Kto ty jesteś?
— P***k mały.
— Jaki znak twój?
— Orzeł biały.
— Gdzie ty mieszkasz?
— Między swemi.
— W jakim kraju?
— W polskiej ziemi.
— Czym ta ziemia?
— Mą Ojczyzną.
— Czym zdobyta?
— Krwią i blizną.
— Czy ją kochasz?
— Kocham szczerze.
— A w co wierzysz?
— W Polskę wierzę.
— Coś ty dla niej?
— Wdzięczne dziecię.
— Coś jej winien?
— Oddać życie.

Though off the regular tourist radar, the south-eastern Polish city of Lublin is increasingly raising eyebrows on account of its beguiling Old Town and magical spirit. But hackneyed clichés aside, it’s also a city with a blossoming arts scene and alternative swagger. Why visit now? Even at the he...

Hello:-)
Cześć, Dzień Dobry, Witam serdecznie!
These are a few forms of greetings in Polish.
My name is Kasia Haroldsen, and I am originally from Poland. Having experience learning a foreign language, I decided to create a course, "Learning Polish with Kasia," One of my lessons will focus on Greeting and Farewells. The goal is to help students with pronunciation, reading, and speaking. In addition, my idea is to present short lessons to keep the students interested and engaged.
From experience, I learned that poems with rhymes and music are one way of learning, so I will use some children's poems and add music to help memorize the pronunciation.
More information is coming soon. Please message me if you or someone is interested in learning Polish.
Thank you:-)

When my children were little, I played this song and other songs from the "Miś I Margolcia" album. They loved it, and to this day, they still remember some of the lyrics. I believe that learning with music is very beneficial :-)
