NES Family,
I wanted to make you aware that our school went into a soft or "preventative" lockdown this morning due to a situation that occurred near the school. Again, this situation did not involve our school, but out of an abundance of caution, we heightened our security procedures. During this time, class continued as usual for students, but no entry was allowed on campus, nor were any students allowed outside until law enforcement declared there was no longer concern about the community situation. This preventative measure is again lifted as there is not a threat to our campus.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as the safety of our students and staff is of primary importance to our school. We also appreciate the swift response from local law enforcement and their continued efforts to keep our students, schools, and community safe.
