Good evening, Avery High and Avery Middle School families.

As we prepare for our first day of school tomorrow, please be aware that the bridge on High School Road will not be open for use tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19.

Because of the bridge closure, we anticipate additional traffic and possible delays during both morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. We encourage families to leave a little earlier than usual tomorrow morning and allow extra time when traveling to school.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the additional traffic on our first day. Please use caution, follow all traffic directions, and help us make arrival and dismissal as safe and smooth as possible.

We are excited to welcome our students back tomorrow and look forward to a great first day of school!
