The Avery High School Band is a group of hard-working students creating the best-possible musical product. From the Avery Viking Marching Band, to the Wind Ensemble and the new-found Concert Band we in Avery County work hard to delight audiences and judges alike. Membership in the band consists of students that both play an instrument, and share in the joys of making music with each other.

Congratulations to these Avery County High School students for making Superior ratings at the Northwestern District Solo and Ensemble contest. This adjudicated contest is sponsored and supported by the North Carolina Music Education Association and the National Association for Music Education.
