📚🐯 Newkirk Elementary Morning Schedule 🐯📚

We’re excited to welcome our Tigers back tomorrow! 💙💛 Here are a few important times to help everyone start the school day smoothly:

⏰ 7:30 AM – Earliest arrival for students eating breakfast
🍎 7:30–7:50 AM – Breakfast is served
🚶 7:45–7:55 AM – Walking Recess — All students are welcome! (Starts Monday)
🏫 7:45–7:55 AM – Arrival time for students NOT eating breakfast
📚 7:55 AM – Students are dismissed to classrooms
🔔 8:00 AM – School begins! Morning Meeting starts in classrooms.

🚗🦺 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Routine! 🦺🚗

Thank you to everyone who came out to Meet the Teacher Night! Below is the map and instructions for drop off and pick at NES.

👉 Please follow the arrows on the map and review the instructions carefully. This pattern should allow for more cars to safely fit in the parking lot at one time.

👮‍♀️ You’ll also see staff members and the Newkirk Police Department out front to assist during drop-off and pick-up times.

To help ease congestion, please follow our staggered dismissal schedule:

🕝 2:45 PM – Pre-K
🕝 2:50 PM – Kindergarten & 1st Grade
🕝 2:55 PM – 2nd & 3rd Grades
🕒 3:00 PM – 4th & 5th Grades
**If you have children in multiple grade levels, your students will be brought out as their grade level is dismissed. We ask that you remain in your vehicle and continue to pull forward in the line so that traffic does not back up. This will allow other cars to move around more easily.

💙💛 What a GREAT night at Newkirk Elementary!🐯

We had an amazing turnout for Meet the Teacher Night! It was wonderful to welcome back our returning students and families and meet so many of our new Tigers and their families!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff for working hard to get everything ready and giving their time to come tonight. Also, thank you to our families for coming out and helping us kick off the school year with such excitement!

We are SO excited to welcome our Tigers back for another amazing school year! 🎉 School starts **Thursday, August 13th!**

✨ **REMINDER: Meet the Teacher is TONIGHT!**

📍 **Newkirk Elementary Cafeteria**

Come meet your child’s teacher, drop off school supplies, and get ready for a fantastic year!

In the cafeteria tonight-
📚 **FREE BOOKS!** We have free books available for students to take home and enjoy.

👕 **LOST & FOUND:** We have washed items from last year’s Lost & Found that are looking for a new home. Be sure to take a look!

💵 **$5 Student Fees:** A table will be available to pay student fees.

You’ll also have an opportunity to visit with our **PTO, Girl Scouts, and Title IX** representatives and more.

We can’t wait to see our families tonight and get this school year started! **It’s going to be an AMAZING year at Newkirk Elementary!** 🐯💙💛
