Our first big PTA event of the school year is almost here!

Bring the family, grab some ice cream, get a little face paint or glitter, try your luck in the 50/50 raffle, and spend the evening with our Ruth Chaffee community. ❤️

New to Chaffee? Come say hello! This is a great, casual way to meet other families and start putting some familiar faces to names.

🙋 We could also still use some helping hands! Check out the volunteer sign-up on the flyer if you’re able to pitch in.

🎓 Know a high school student looking for volunteer hours? Send them our way! ❤️💙

The Ruth Chaffee PTA is looking for a responsible high school student who can help during our monthly PTA meetings, generally from 6:30–7:30 PM.

This isn’t just a “sit in the room while the grown-ups meet” gig. 😊 We’re looking for someone who is comfortable helping keep the children who attend with their parents occupied, engaged, and safely managed so parents can participate in the meeting and PTA business can run smoothly.

📅 Meetings are typically held on the first Tuesday of the month, with a few exceptions during the school year and no December meeting.

It’s a simple, consistent way for a local high school student to earn volunteer/service hours while providing a really valuable service to our school community.

We’re also always looking for volunteers of all ages to help with PTA events throughout the year—setting up, running activities, cleaning up, and all the little things that make our events possible!

🙋 Know someone who might be interested? Tag them, share this post, or have them reach out to the Ruth Chaffee PTA!

Sometimes an hour of someone’s time is exactly what makes it possible for someone else to participate. ❤️🐦
