Mark your calendars for Sunday May 19th! We will be at this event walking with the kids, so feel free to join our team. We didn’t get a chance to make shirt last year as Connor was just diagnosed the week before this event, but we will have shirts/hoodies/bracelets/hats for this time around. More info to come soon!

It’s been a minute since we’ve updated you all…we had a meeting with Guide Dogs of America - Tender Loving Canines a few weeks ago with a few questions we had. As it turns out, we thought we had one more step to do before qualifying, but we don’t. WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON THE LIST ❤️

We will most likely have another update for a dog to join the house towards the end of the year. The pup they choose needs to fit very special criteria, and it will probably take longer to find that gem!

In the mean time, we will continue baking to raise money and continue training Cabot to be a Canine Good Citizen. We are a few weeks into his STAR puppy class and he loves to work.

Baguettes! teachers made this easy to learn today! Croissants get finished tomorrow, and we make sourdough loaves too. One of those I know a little about, one I know almost nothing 🤣

We had a lovely visit this morning with Guide Dogs of America - Tender Loving Canines. Connor met a golden retriever girl named Ridley and we got to see how he responds to her as a working dog. She is still in training, but it was so encouraging to see him hold onto her harness and cuddle with her. We should find out in the next few weeks if we are approved for the next steps of their program.

We have our other interview next Monday with ECAD, Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities. Stay tuned to see how it turns out!
