It’s been a busy summer of transitions as children leave for pre school and new children come in. Sad and happy times as my kiddos move on. But excited to have my next group for the next 2 years all in. New staff have settled in well and we’re bonding as a team. Now on with my favorite season with all the festivities of Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and my favorite of all Christmas 😃

As we near the end of summer and the return to school is imminent, I reflect on what a wonderful time the past 2 months have been. We have been on local field trips and had our first graduate celebration from day one of Woodview opening. We have watched and been amazed by the growth of creativity and symbolic play. Friendships have been forged; our babies are now beginning to walk and talk; imagination and creativity are clearly being enjoyed; their love for books is obvious with many choosing to read and asking to be read to (melts my heart); the growth from just playing with toys to full on construction with a purpose and stories to go with what they build is nothing short of amazing; and we have harnessed a love of learning about all things which will hopefully help them to enjoy their more formal education when it comes. I know I’ve said it before but ‘I LOVE MY JOB’ for all the reasons above and more. ❤️

Woodview had their first summer field trip on Friday. I’d say it was a success culminating in our own personal mud day 😂

Funny moments are happening all around 😊
This week one of our toddlers notices the pretend fire in the outdoor house and gets the log (which is heavy) and carries it in to the house. When asked what he was doing, his answer was adorable, he pointed to the fire saying “log to fire”. ❤️
