Newcomerstown Preschool

Newcomerstown Preschool Newcomerstown West Elementary houses three preschool classrooms. The preschools are in session Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 2:45 pm.

They have the capability to serve children from all economic backgrounds and preschoolers with special needs. Four-year-olds have the option of attending 4 days a week
Three-year-olds attend 2 days per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday)
Applications are available on online and by request from the school office. Along with the application, please include proof of income for your family, a

copy of your child's birth certificate, social security card and immunization record. Preschoolers are required to have a physical before the 30th day of school (approximately September 30th) and a dental before the 60th day of school. These forms are also available on the Newcomerstown Schools website, if you see your doctor or dentist over the summer. The preschool accepts online applications at https://data.mvesc.org/MVESCPreschool/ It is important to attach income verification and your child’s birth certificate to the application.

📅 Preschool Screenings:
Monday, August 24 & Tuesday, August 25
If you need a reminder of your child’s screening appointment time, please reach out to West Elementary.

🏫 Preschool Open House:
Thursday, August 27
Stop by anytime between 1:00–5:00 PM to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and get ready for a great school year!

🎒 Preschool Staggered Start:
Preschoolers will begin the week of August 31 with a staggered start:

* Monday, August 31
* Tuesday, September 1
* Wednesday, September 2

You will find out which day your child will start school at your screening appointment.

🩺 Medical & Immunization Forms:
Preschoolers do not need a medical physical this year. However, each child will need either:

* A dated copy of their immunization record, or
* A signed exemption form

📝 FinalForms:
Please complete FinalForms as soon as possible. Go to www.nctschools.org, forms,parent, new account OR returning parent log in.

There are 3 spots left! West Elementary secretaries will be in the office starting Monday, Aug. 3. Pick up an application for you child and turn in your child’s birth certificate, shot record and your household income for the past 4-6 weeks. Please reach out with questions:)
