In a world where everyone can access the Bible on their phones or a screen, Shiloh students learn the importance of holding and opening God’s Word in their hands. By making intentional connections to Scripture, students can:

- Approach God’s Word with reverence
- See God’s creation in their subjects
- Use literature to explore character, virtue, and human nature
- Integrate classroom learning into real-life application by asking, “What is true?” and “How should I respond?”

As we partner with families, we honor the God-given authority and responsibility of parents and guardians. We seek to cultivate the child’s heart to desire what is true, good, and beautiful by teaching through a biblical lens. Our goal is not merely to fill the mind with information, but to teach students to understand and evaluate what they encounter in God’s Word.

Meet our Class 4 Teachers!

Fourth grade is an exciting year in the Grammar School as students build upon the strong foundation of their early years and take on new challenges-including the beginning of Latin! As their knowledge grows, so does their confidence, and ability to see the connections woven throughout all they are learning.

Our fourth-grade teachers encourage their students to work diligently, think deeply, and recognize that all truth ultimately points back to Christ.

New perspective | New projects | New property

Our Kindergarten art classes christened our new property right where classrooms will soon be built! Exploring nature and seeing the beauty, not only in what God has created, but in what He has provided for our school will be something we do not take for granted.

One of the primary areas of study for Kindergarten is day 3 of creation. Students had the opportunity to collect leaves and pick up pine cones for their stamp-printing masterpieces!

At Shiloh Christian Academy, a simple walk through nature and transforming leaves into lasting art translates directly into why we study art: because God is the Master Artist.

Class Two is such an important year as students strengthen the skills that will carry them from learning to read to reading to learn. Through decoding words, building fluency, and growing in comprehension, strong foundations are being laid for the years ahead.

Our Class Two teachers faithfully nurture these growing minds, fostering a love of learning while pointing their students toward truth and toward Christ.

Integration of the Bible in each of our classes is a freedom we do not take for granted. In fact, it is the very foundation of our school. Because of this, you may often hear our staff say, “God’s school, God’s way.”

Students at Shiloh are pointed to the Bible and get to experience His presence the moment they step through our doors. Mr. Elrod exemplifies what it means to be a Shiloh Christian Soldier to the fullest extent, and we are grateful to have a staff that has been completely assembled by God.

Through a rigorous academic program grounded in Bible study and inquiry, we train students to think deeply, love what is true, and live with clarity and conviction.
