Rhetorical study is the basis of thesis defense. This presumes that absolute truth exists and is not “personal” or different for every person. Thus, students are conditioned to look for Truth in every aspect of their education, not personal truth.

Our rhetoric students find engagement with a broad-scope, fully integrated understanding of language, logic, and writing. It equips students to be competent problem solvers, communicators, and leaders, with a deep understanding of their faith.

We are ready for a spectacular year for our rhetoric students and teachers!

We applaud the outstanding achievements of Class 6 student Cashion Ballard and Class 2 student Samuel Madden! Both students were recognized at the Oklahoma State Capitol for their incredible artwork! Their pieces placed in the top 13 out of 1,500 submissions across 88 different school districts. A special thanks to Mrs. Wolfe for her artistic wisdom and guidance in class! Well done!

At Shiloh Christian Academy, we believe God equips His people to impact the next generation. We are incredibly proud to celebrate Mrs. Kilkenny for being awarded the OECU “Big Idea” Teacher Grant, which will provide 20 electronic tabletop keyboards for our music program!

Because of her vision, initiative, and heart for students, our music classes will be enriched for years to come. We are thankful for faithful educators who use their gifts to inspire excellence and glorify the Lord in all they do.

Some lessons are studied. Others are shared.

As we reflect on this year’s Shiloh Showcase, we are reminded that education is about far more than information. It is about formation.

Families wandered through galleries filled with student artwork, explored semester projects that represented months of diligence and discovery, and listened as students stood before an audience to recite Scripture, poetry, and historic texts committed to memory.

These moments reveal something beautiful. They reveal students who are learning not only what to think, but how to attend, to remember, to communicate, and to delight in what is true.

The Shiloh Showcase is one of our favorite traditions because it allows us to celebrate the fruit of a year's labor. It is a glimpse of young minds being cultivated, gifts being developed, and confidence taking root.

Well done, students. Thank you for sharing the work of your hearts, minds, and hands with us.

Some moments stay with a child long after the lesson is over.

At Shiloh, these Keystone experiences invite students to step into what they are studying and hold it in their hands. Class Three did just that as they entered into Oklahoma history. They mixed biscuit dough, churned butter, learned the uses of native plants, and ran the land run before gathering for a simple meal.

For a time, history was not distant. It was felt, shared, and remembered.

This is the kind of learning that shapes the heart as well as the mind.

Learning that invites inquiry.

Our Class Seven students spent the day at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, engaging with exhibits designed to be tested, examined, and thoughtfully considered.

Not every answer was immediate. Nor should it be.

They observed with care, experimented with purpose, and worked alongside one another, practicing the habits of mind that lead to true understanding.

At Shiloh, we aim not only to instruct students in what is known but to form in them the discipline to pursue what is true.
