Why do I love rhythm sticks so much? ❤️

Let me count the ways:

1. Easy for all ages (when assisted/safe-play is taught and IMMEDIATELY reinforced if not followed!)
2. Not crazy expensive (the appropriately sized ones for little learners can be up to $5/pair but last a LONG time. Worth the investment!)

In Little Kiddos Music Academy® classes, we don't just sing the classics — we turn them into full-body and/or instrument exploration.

Same beloved melody, brand new textures: tap it, brush it, knock it, tap it again. Kids are working on rhythm, dynamics, and motor control, and they have NO idea they're "learning" anything. To them it's just... really fun drumming.

🎶 Tapping builds steady beat and rhythm awareness (the foundation for reading, math, and language patterning later on)
🎶 Brushing works on gentle control and dynamic contrast — loud vs. soft is a big concept for a 2-year-old to physically feel
🎶 Patting allows for more full control on steady beat and rhythms plus provides more "real" drumming practice.
