Did you know that the Lincoln Academy All-School Boosters supports dozens of extracurricular clubs and teams at LA? We’ll be holding a Boosters Welcome Back meeting on August 26th at 6pm. Looking for parent volunteers to help out with Homecoming and staffing the snack shack during games. It’s a quick, easy way to get involved and support our athletic teams and other student programs. On August 7 the Lincoln Academy Community came together for the 5th Annual Linaca Music Festival. We celebrated LA's long history of excellent performing arts with a full house at Schooner Landing in Damariscotta, where we showcased the incredible talent of LA alumni and students and raised over $13K to support performing arts programming. Thank you to everyone who braved the August humidity for the 5th Annual Linaca Alumni Music Festival!

Together, we raised over $12,000 for Lincoln Academy's performing arts programs.

We are so grateful to the LA Performing Arts Parents who helped kick off this successful event with a generous matching challenge. Thank you!

All gifts received at the Linaca Alumni Music Festival support the 2026-27 Lincoln Academy performing arts operating budget, helping to cover costs such as the licensing of sheet music, maintenance of musical instruments and sound equipment, and student registration fees for annual competitions like All-State Band, Chorus, and One Act Play events.

Funds raised beyond our goal of $10,000 will be put into the William Sherman '73 and Robert Page '71 Memorial Fund for Music to help students access private lessons, instrument purchases and upgrades, and other educational resources for our faculty.

Thank you to Schooner Landing for hosting Linaca and supporting local music. We couldn't do this without you.

The LINACA Music Festival is the summer exhibition of the Lincoln Academy Performing Arts community. The celebratory fundraiser welcomes performances from current students and Alumni to not only showcase their talent, but to emphasize the importance of performing arts to the LA community. As a continuation of Java and Jams, the fundraising at LINACA directly allows for expanding enrollment in performing arts programs, upgrading facilities and equipment, and to subsidize festival participation and performance trips. Community fundraising allows LA to ensure its commitment to a liberal education by granting access to music education to all students. If you want to hear some awesome music from the LA community, please join us this year on August 7th, at 5:00 P.M. at Schooner Landing in Damariscotta!

LINACA is an annual fundraiser and celebration in which the musical talent of Lincoln Academy students and alumni is put on display. Its fundraising allows the LA Performing Arts department to expand its capacity for students and continue important programming into the future. From facilities and resource improvements, to the return of a performance trip for Wind Ensemble and Lincolnaires, LINACA serves a vital role in expanding access to music education to LA students. While the inspiration for LINACA dates back to 1941, this is the 5th year we’ve held our modern summer festival. Schooner Landing, an establishment revered by the Midcoast Music Scene, provides a picturesque setting for the festivities, and will again serve as the location for this year’s exhibition. Come join us on August 7th, at 5:00 P.M. at Schooner Landing Restaurant and Marina in Damariscotta for this year’s event! We hope to see you there!
