🌻💚 MEET SHARI WILKINSON — THE WOMAN BEHIND THE NEWBURYPORT FARMERS’ MARKET! 💚🌻

And today just happens to be HER BIRTHDAY! 🎂🎉💐

For more than 18 years, Shari has been one of the incredible forces behind the Newburyport Farmers’ Market. You may know her as “the woman who is ALWAYS working” 😂 — because seriously, she is everywhere!

For seven months out of the year, Sunday is not a day off for Shari. ☀️🌧️ She’s up and moving, making sure vendors are where they need to be, customers are taken care of, traffic and logistics are handled, everyone is safe, and somehow all the little things you never even think about are getting done. 🚜🥕🍅🌻

As a vendor, I see another side of it. There have been Sundays when I’m struggling with something, and before I even have a chance to ask for help, I look up and there’s Shari.

“Are you okay? Do you need anything?” ❤️

That is just who she is.

There is SO MUCH happening behind the scenes of a farmers market that customers never see. The moving, scrambling, problem-solving, organizing, checking on people, keeping everyone safe and making sure the whole thing comes together week after week. Shari is right in the middle of all of it. 💪🏼🌻

Our market simply would not be what it is without people like her who pour so much time, energy and heart into this community. ❤️

And of course, none of it would be possible without YOU — our loyal customers who show up every Sunday! 🥰 Thank you for supporting the vendors, shopping local and continuing to make this market such a special part of Newburyport.
