๐ป๐ MEET SHARI WILKINSON โ THE WOMAN BEHIND THE NEWBURYPORT FARMERSโ MARKET! ๐๐ป
And today just happens to be HER BIRTHDAY! ๐๐๐
For more than 18 years, Shari has been one of the incredible forces behind the Newburyport Farmersโ Market. You may know her as โthe woman who is ALWAYS workingโ ๐ โ because seriously, she is everywhere!
For seven months out of the year, Sunday is not a day off for Shari. โ๏ธ๐ง๏ธ Sheโs up and moving, making sure vendors are where they need to be, customers are taken care of, traffic and logistics are handled, everyone is safe, and somehow all the little things you never even think about are getting done. ๐๐ฅ๐
๐ป
As a vendor, I see another side of it. There have been Sundays when Iโm struggling with something, and before I even have a chance to ask for help, I look up and thereโs Shari.
โAre you okay? Do you need anything?โ โค๏ธ
That is just who she is.
There is SO MUCH happening behind the scenes of a farmers market that customers never see. The moving, scrambling, problem-solving, organizing, checking on people, keeping everyone safe and making sure the whole thing comes together week after week. Shari is right in the middle of all of it. ๐ช๐ผ๐ป
Our market simply would not be what it is without people like her who pour so much time, energy and heart into this community. โค๏ธ
And of course, none of it would be possible without YOU โ our loyal customers who show up every Sunday! ๐ฅฐ Thank you for supporting the vendors, shopping local and continuing to make this market such a special part of Newburyport.
So TODAY, help us wish Shari a very, very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ๐๐ฅณ๐ And if youโre at the Farmersโ Market this Sunday and see her running around doing what she does best, stop her for just a second and say:
โHappy Birthday, Shari!โ ๐โค๏ธ
Shari, we love you and appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for everything you do for the vendors, the customers and this beautiful Newburyport community. ๐ป๐
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! ๐๐๐ฅ๐โค๏ธ
