Women don’t need a “girl gun.” They need good instruction, proper technique, and the chance to find the handgun that actually fits them.

Own an AR-15 but never taken a formal class with it?

Maybe you've had it for years. Taken it to the range plenty of times. You're comfortable shooting it — but no one's ever walked you through how it actually works, how to properly zero it, or whether your setup makes sense.

That's exactly who our AR-15 Fundamentals class is for.

Beginner-friendly, but not beginner-only. Safe handling, r***e operation, loading and unloading, shooting fundamentals, sighting and zeroing, live-fire drills with individual coaching.

If you've been meaning to get real instruction with your r***e, this is a good place to start. And this is our last outdoor r***e class of the season before winter.

Sunday, October 18
2:00–4:00 PM
Proving Grounds Outdoor Range
$80

Don't own a r***e yet? Rentals are available.

❤️ THIS is why I love teaching!

That face says it all! 😍

One of my favorite moments as an instructor is watching a woman go from being nervous or unsure of herself to pure excitement when everything finally clicks!

Maybe she's shooting for the very first time. Maybe she's shot before but never felt confident or happy with her results. And then suddenly... she hits that bullseye! 🎯

And look closely at this picture. There's another woman cheering her on! That's what makes these classes so special. The encouragement, the laughter, the friendships, and those little victories that mean so much.

They say if you love what you do, it never feels like work. And honestly, these are some of my favorite classes to teach. ❤️

Want to experience it for yourself?

🤔 Been thinking about learning to shoot, but still haven’t taken that first step? You’re definitely not alone.

For a lot of women, the hardest part isn’t actually learning to shoot — it’s walking through the door for the first time. Maybe you’ve never touched a handgun before. Maybe someone in your life owns fi****ms, but you’ve never really felt comfortable with them. Or maybe you’ve been telling yourself for months that you’re going to learn… you just haven’t found the right place to start.

That’s exactly why we created our Women's Intro to Handgun- The Perfect Place to Start class. This is a relaxed, supportive class designed specifically for women who are brand new or who simply want to become more comfortable and confident around handguns.

You don’t need experience. You don’t need to own a fi***rm. Rental equipment is available, and we’ll walk you through everything step by step. We keep the class small so there’s plenty of time for questions, individual coaching, and actually enjoying the experience instead of feeling rushed or intimidated.

Thinking about buying a r***e, but not sure where to start? Just bought one and want to feel more comfortable using it? Or maybe you’ve owned a r***e for years, taken it to the range, but never actually had formal training.

Our Learn to Shoot R***e: AR-15 Fundamentals class was designed for all three.

You don’t need to own a r***e, and you don’t need prior experience. Rental r***es are available at no additional cost, so if you’re still deciding whether an AR-15 is right for you, this is a great opportunity to learn before you buy.

Already own one? Bring yours and build a stronger foundation with professional instruction, individual coaching, and plenty of time to ask questions.

This is our final public r***e class of the season before winter.

🕑 2:00–4:00 PM
📍 Proving Grounds Outdoor Range

✅ Rental r***es available
✅ Eye & ear protection available

So if getting your Ohio Concealed Handgun License has been on your list, this is your chance to get it done before the new year.

This is a full 8-hour class covering the information, laws, safety and hands-on training you need — taught by both Neil and me in the small-class environment our students have come to expect.

We currently have a few seats remaining.

If you’ve been thinking about it, don’t put it off until next year. 😊
