PARENTS of children 3-13,
Let's face it, the holidays are upon us and the craziness has begun! I am offering a kid's night out- "foodie craft night" for children aged 3 to 13. The next craft night will be on Friday December 5th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Parents, you have the night off to do whatever you wish! If if you want to go out on a nice date with your significant other or have some last minute
shopping to do for Christmas, I'm your gal! I will provide a safe and fun environment for 3 hours while encouraging your children to use their creativity in making food- based crafts for the holidays. Each craft night that is scheduled will feature 2 food based crafts. I will also provide a small snack to have during a brief break that we will take together. If your child has food allergies we can arrange for you to bring something that is okay for them to eat. The food based craft is usually not always "edible"but all crafts do include "edible parts". Again, please alert me of ANY ALLERGIES AT REGISTRATION. On Friday, December 5th we will be making Edible "mangers" and Candy cane Pretzels. sticks. We will begin the evening with a short reading of the Nativity Story and then the children will begin to create their own Manger. I am prepared to have up to 10 children on each craft night, which is obviously 'first reserved; first placed'. If the class you want fills up quicker than you can sign up I can put you at the top of the list for the next class also on a first reserved; first placed basis. The cost for these three hour classes is $20 per child. I will offer a sibling discount until the end of the year of $15.00 for each additional sibling. I have enlisted Lila Roy to be my helper for some of the classes. She is quite crafty and talented and as most of my neighbors can attest, the children absolutely love her! I will be having several of these classes especially as we go through the holidays and parents need the time to get things done or just have a break themselves but so far the dates that I have scheduled are as follows:
