Walnut Elementary Walnut Elementary, home of the Wildcats! Walnut has an active PTA, School Site Council, and English Language Advisory Council.

Walnut is a little elementary school with a BIG heart, where every student is valued and encouraged to develop a lifelong love of learning. We believe in developing the whole child, so we invest in the visual and performing arts, technology, and physical fitness in addition to traditional academics. Each of these groups of parents and community members would LOVE to have YOU join them in making sure Walnut provides the best possible learning environment for students and families. Surprise!
Our Wildcats had a fun surprise waiting for them today…Surprise Attendance Day! We celebrated our amazing students for showing up and being at school, ready to learn. With blue pom-poms, big smiles, and lots of school spirit, our Wildcats made attendance worth celebrating!
Every day counts, and every Wildcat matters!

Walnut is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by creating colorful papel picado! This traditional Mexican folk art is made by cutting intricate designs into tissue paper. It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn about and celebrate Hispanic culture, creativity, and tradition.

Whooo gets a say in art? Our Wildcats do! 🦉🎨

Before school, Ms. Karen was on the playground getting input from our student artists on which project they wanted to create. The winner? OWLS! 🦉 And we love how they turned out!
