Nuestra reunión del ELAC Cluster de Newbury Park reunió a nuestras escuelas para una noche llena de conexión, colaboración y comunidad. 💬✨ Familias y personal de todas las escuelas de Newbury Park se reunieron para compartir recursos, aprender unos de otros y fortalecer el apoyo que brindamos a nuestros estudiantes que están aprendiendo inglés.

Estas reuniones nos recuerdan que cuando las escuelas trabajan juntas, creamos mayores oportunidades para nuestros estudiantes y familias. Gracias a todos los que participaron, compartieron ideas y ayudaron a que esta noche fuera tan especial.

Our Newbury Park ELAC Cluster Meeting brought our schools together for a powerful evening of connection, collaboration, and community. 💬✨ Families and staff from across the Newbury Park schools gathered to share resources, learn from one another, and strengthen the support we provide for our English Learners.

These meetings are a wonderful reminder that when schools work together, we create stronger opportunities for our students and families. Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared ideas, and helped make the evening so meaningful.

📣🐾 What an incredible 10 days it’s been at Walnut! Over the past two weeks, our Wildcats have been living out the GO WILDCATS values each day as we counted down to our Fun Run. Together we focused on what it means to show:

Every day our classrooms paused to talk, reflect, and challenge themselves to put these values into action. From encouraging classmates and including others, to choosing a positive attitude and working together as a team, our Wildcats showed what it truly means to be part of a strong school community.

Along the way we celebrated classes, shared cheers, and watched our school come together with excitement and pride. The energy, kindness, and teamwork we saw from our students made this countdown something really special.

These lessons didn’t just prepare us for the Fun Run. They reminded us that the way we treat each other, support each other, and grow together is what makes Walnut such an amazing place to learn.

Our kindergarteners hit their Fun Run goal, so Mrs. Hogue took one for the team with a pie to the face! GO WILDCATS! 💙🐾

A dress up like a book character day has begun!

Our first graders took the stage as Solar Detectives and wowed the whole school! ☀️🌙✨

Through songs, movement, and big first grade confidence, they showed us the patterns in the sky — the sun rising and setting, the moon changing shapes, and the stars shining at night.

We are so proud of our young scientists for shining bright and sharing their learning with our entire Walnut community! 💙🐾
