Together, they comprise two of the five countywide awardees recognized this year, a testament to their leadership, innovation, and commitment to equitable, high-quality math instruction. Happy Read Across America Week! Our Geckos kicked off the week with a “Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character” spirit day! We hope to see you all tomorrow morning for the Book Exchange! 📖💚📚

Last week of February had our Geckos busy! First graders had their Living History Performance where they dressed and spoke as American symbols! Second grade took a field trip to Point Mugu beach to explore some real life factors of weathering and erosion! Way to go Geckos! 🌎💚📚

strike gold! 💰⛏️ Our 4th graders stepped back in time and experienced life as a California 49er! They endured panning in the “icy American River” and earned gold throughout the day by participating in themed games and activities! 💛💰💚

Do. Risk. Grow! Fifth grade had a great day supporting each other while facing challenges on our Fulcrum rope course day through the districts STAND PROUD program!

Today our Kindergarten Seeds took a field trip to SATWIWA to explore concepts of weather and visit our 5th grade SHRUBS restoration plots! From SEEDS to SPROUTS to SHRUBS, this is what the SHRUBS program is all about! 💚🌎🌿
