Dear 4th Grade Families,
We’ve recently learned about some different National Parks and the students created beautiful paintings of the Grand Canyon!

I also wanted to share a fun opportunity with you. There’s a program called “Every Kid Outdoors” that offers every 4th grader in the U.S. a FREE pass to visit any National Park. I applied and printed out passes for all of our 4th grade students. The pass covers the child and their family, and you can use it as many times as you’d like through August 2026. They went home this week, so check with your child!

It’s a wonderful chance to get outside, explore, and make some special family memories. I hope some of you are able to take advantage of it!

I have two spots open for art lessons (with Mrs. Moyes) next week!

Lessons are Tuesday and Thursday, right after school until 4:15. It’s $32 for both days. We will be doing a holiday painting. Let me know if anyone is interested in these spots.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see our school art show!

The kids worked really hard making their artwork and I loved seeing how proud they were to show it off to their families. 💓

If you missed the show, we will accept online orders to purchase framed work through next Tuesday!

All students will get their (unframed) artwork returned sometime before Christmas break.

Also, if you have any pictures of your students with their artwork…share below! I didn’t take many and the company loves to share our photos!

Our school wide art show is tonight!
5-7 pm in the SES gym

Framed artwork and duplicate prints can be purchased and ordered. However, all students will get their (unframed) artwork returned in a few weeks.

You do not have to make purchases to attend so I hope everyone can stop in and see the art your child has made! 🎨🖼️

I only have ONE more spot for the month of October. Lessons are on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school (but not EVERY Tuesday and Thursday). The art lesson dates for this spot would be on 10/7, 10/21, 10/23, and 10/30.

I just filled up for 2nd grade spots… but still have a few more openings for 3rd-5th if anyone else is interested!

If I get any more 2nd graders sign up, I’ll put you on a cancellation list and contact you if I get another opening!

Hi everyone!

Last year, I did after school art lessons. I believe I’m going to start them back up again. I will likely make fliers for students interested to take home. However, if any parents see this and are interested, please message me and let me know! Last year, I only did these with 4th and 5th graders… but I think I’m going to open it up to students interested who are in graders 2-3 this year too. Hopefully I will have enough for two separate groups. Spots would be filled on a first come first serve basis to keep groups small!
