NFA Class of 1978, IF you receive an email from me to your home or business email, DELETE it. It’s not from me and this is a targeted social media attack. There are at least a dozen types of phishing / spoofing attacks out there.

Phishing-Using a brand or person you know to communicate with you.

Spear phishing-Targeting you specifically because they are tracking you through various social media accounts and they learn your likes & dislikes.

Whale phishing-typically high net worth people who are over a certain age who are likely NOT tech savvy and they try to get banking information.

Spoofing email happens when scammers manipulate a message’s metadata so it appears to come from your address, even though they haven't actually hacked your inbox. Always check the full email address before opening a suspicious email. - This happened today to an NFA 78 alumni (and dear friend) under the auspicious of a reunion.

It’s not me. DELETE IT! Please.

Be aware of scams out there. There is no “Alumni Fund”, these Fraudster’s are selling NFA 78 paraphernalia and claiming it’s for a “Reunion Fund” which doesn’t exist.

You can purchase an item if you want, just note nothing is going towards the reunion.

We lost one of our own recently, Patty Maguire an NFA Class of 1978 alumni. Her obituary is below and I encourage all that knew Patty to watch and listen to the slide show that is immediately after the obit. It was very tasteful and for those of us who knew Patty for most of our lives, heartfelt.
